Serving Soup & Sandwiches Daily Fall Family Fun Festival When the autumn leaves start turning colors, folks know that the annual Random Lake Fall Family Fun Festival cannot be too far away. To- day it's held on the last Saturday of September on Carroll St. (the "downtown" main street in Random Lake). And admission is free! The first fall festival dates back to Oct. 19, 2002 and it was sponsored by the Random Lake Area Redevelopment Corp. In 2004 that organization became the Random Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, which has continued to organize the popular event each year. The date was moved to September to take advantage of Wisconsin's appealing early autumn weather. The fest appeals to all areas, which an ex- panded number of "inflatables" and other chil- dren's activities. The variety of music is only ex- ceeded by the variety of food choices, and local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate and get creative too! Joe Horstmeier entertains the crowd.
