74 www.randomlake.org The annual "Night of Lights" celebra- tion marks the beginning of the Christ- mas season in the greater Random Lake area. The 15th annual "Night of Lights" will take place on Fri., Dec. 2, 2016. Santa Claus has already confirmed an appear- ance at Lakeview Community Library in Random Lake, where lots of children's activities will be taking place. There also will be special programming at the Ran- dom Lake Area Historical Museum just a block away on Carroll St. The Cham- ber Singers from Random Lake High School will present Christmas carols in the best style of the Charles Dickens era. "The Living Nativity" will be present- ed by Lakeshore Productions, Inc., in Random Lake's downtown. This an- nual family friendly event includes angels, shepherds, animals and music telling the Christmas story -- all un- der the beautiful backdrop of a night sky.
