Discover the bustling storefronts filled with boutique shops, restaurants, and other wonderful curiosities. This small town is nestled on both sides of the Fox River, linked by an award-winning bridge above the oldest dock lock on the 150 year-old river system. Take a relaxing stroll on the Riverwalk and see the wildlife that gather on the shore. The path begins inside Voyageur Park, and takes you out into the river for unprecedented views. De Pere has three boat launches on the Fox River. Whether you're jet skiing, kayaking or headed out to the Bay of Green Bay, you will find ample parking and well-maintained docks. In the heart of De Pere is St. Norbert College, a 2,200-student campus recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 10 "Best National Catholic Liberal Arts Colleges" in 2016. As you tour the community, you'll find Luna Café, a place for good coffee and good conversation, and nearby The Cupcake Couture for out-of-this-world cupcake flavors that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Seroogy's Chocolates highlights streets lined with fun shopping and small town charm. Enjoy the sites of the city by riverboat cruising with Fox River Tours, or grab your bike and peddle the Fox River Trail. Dining in the city is top-notch and diverse. Taste traditional French country cooking at Café Chanson for dinner or Sunday brunch. Choose OGAN for an intimate evening of downtown dining pairing fusion cuisine and wine. Throughout the year, the community bustles with events. Celebrate De Pere boasts music and carnival rides on Memorial Day Weekend. The Bridging the Arts Downtown Art Walks, and the very satisfying fall Soup Walk are signature events not to be missed. Even the yogis come out in full force in July and August. It's normal to see 100 people on Thursday nights at Voyageur Park for group yoga.
