(awa Visit the Fox Cities and most people will think of shopping, museums and the arts. However, we are also home to two breweries that are quickly making a name for themselves in the craft beer world. I had an opportunity to sit down with Tom Lonsway of Stone Cellar Brewpub f Sto and Jay Supple of Fox River y inning) out more about the great beers they brew right be here in the Fox Cities. Written by Mary Hirvela, Marketing & Communications Manager, Fox Cities CVB S Stone Cellar Brewpub dates back to 1858 w when a German immigrant named Anton F Fischer built the building–the first brewery in Outagamie County. In 1918, the business (t (then called Fischer Brewery) was sold to the Walter Brewing Co. which introduced Adler Brau to the Fox Cities. Then, in C 1989, Adler Brau beer was back in production, not with the Walter Brewing Co., but under new ownership as the Adler Brau Brewery & Restaurant. In 2004, father and son partners Tom and Steve Lonsway took over the brewery and restaurant that exists today. The demand grew so much for their beers that in 2012, after seven years, a brewery expansion was necessary. Stone Cellar Brewery soon became the Stone Arch Brew House and there are now 100+ bars and restaurants in the area where you can find your favorite Stone Arch Brew House beverage. With their variety of menu options, nostalgic atmosphere, and award-winning brews, Stone Cellar Brewpub is one place you'll want to put on your dining itinerary for your next visit. beers brewed at stone arch Stone Arch Houdini Honey Wheat Stone Arch Marquette Pilsner Stone Arch Six Grain Ale Stone Arch India Pale Ale Stone Arch Scottish Ale Stone Arch Stout Stone Arch Vanilla Stout Stone Arch Specialty/Seasonal Beers Special Events and Brewery Tours There are three special events that take place every third month at Stone Cellar: Beer vs. Wine, Beer Dinner and Beer School.
