Enjoying the day at Lakeview Park there are organized activities for nearly every youth sport. The School District of Random Lake offers comprehensive and challenging activities inside and outside the classroom, a wide ranging athletic program, and many opportunities for those interested in the arts. The school opened its own day care center in 2011. The Random Lake Area Historical Society Museum showcases numerous artifacts and exhibits from the area. Located at the north end of the village near Hwy. 144 is the Carl Nowack house, built in 1865, a site recognized by the Wisconsin Historical Society. What you won't find in Random Lake are stop lights, parking meters, billboards or strip malls. Throughout the course of each year, the Village of Random Lake plays host to unique family-friendly events. Many of them involve food, ranging from the weekly brat fry fundraisers sponsored by community organizations, to those oldfashioned, tasty Sunday church dinners. The Random Lake Fire Department holds its annual picnic on the last full weekend of July, showcasing numerous daytime activities including a garden tractor pull, dart tournament and children's games. On Friday and Saturday nights live bands perform under the (adults only) "big tent."
