absolutely Artistic Performing Arts Downtown Green Bay's Meyer Theatre is an exceptional performance hall featuring the ornate design of a turn-ofthe-century, lavishly-equipped vaudeville house and movie palace. Originally a Fox Theatre, the 1,000-seat venue presents professional live performances, including musicals, concerts, family theatre and unique touring shows. The Meyer is home to Let Me Be Frank Productions, a locally produced musical variety show, perfect for a couple's night out. For some outdoor musical fun, relax and enjoy one of the popular lunchtime Summer in the Park concerts or Leicht at Nite, Thursday evenings at Leicht Park. Green Bay's CityDeck has entertainment every Friday, June through August. All ages can celebrate with food and entertainment, including music, outdoor movies, dancing and even juggling. The 2,000-seat Weidner Center for the Performing Arts presents an astounding array of performances from Broadway to chamber orchestras to pop acts and comedies. For families that like to combine food and entertainment, try musical comedy productions at Palace of Reifs Mills Dinner Theatre or Daddy D Productions. Greater Green Bay's largest entertainment venue is the 10,000-seat Resch Center. The Resch hosts 1.2 million people every year, having record crowds for musical performers like Neil Diamond, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Josh Groban. Visual Arts Have an eye for great art? Don't miss one of our most treasured gems. The ARTgarage is a gallery where local artists can display and sell their creations. Hanging wall art, pottery, jewelry and textiles fill the gallery. Stop in and see the artists at work and talk with them. To visit with artists at work inside their own studio, be sure to attend one of the four Gallery Nights throughout the year, and take the free trolley ride to the artists' studios.
